Natick Wrestling Wins 18th Consecutive BSC Title; 23rd in Program History!

Framingham, MA - In a tightly contested match that was tied up until only four bouts remaining in the match, the #4 Natick Redhawks (26-2; 11-0 BSC) defeated the #15 Framingham Flyers by a score of 46-22 to capture its 18th consecutive Bay State Conference Title (2000 - Present), and 23rd overall championship in program history. After falling behind early in the match, Kyle Bastarache recorded a third period pin in the 170-pound bout to even the match at 22-22. Following Bastarche's pin, the Redhawks recorded 4 consecutive pins by Tim Ramstrom (182), Matt Gastaldo (195), Ramathan Makayu (220), and Josh Atwood (285) to close match with a final score of 46-22. 
The #4 Redhawks are back in action this weekend where they will host the Division II Metro Sectional Wrestling Championships in the Natick High School Gymnasium. The Redhawks have their eyes on capturing a 13th Sectional Wrestling Championship in program history.
